April 17, 2008 - Prudential Hodrick Realty ACQUIRES ERA Classic Realty
Williamsport, pa - Prudential Hodrick Realty in Williamsport and Lock Haven announced today that it has acquired ERA Classic Realty of Lewisburg and Danville. With the completion of this transaction, Prudential Hodrick Realty broadens its presence in North Central Pennsylvania to include eight counties.
"We’re pleased to be able to bring access to greater resources, a state-of-the-art technology platform, plus expanded reach through a national referral system to the five counties served by the Central Susquehanna Valley Multiple Listing Service, enabling us to serve the region’s buyers and sellers even better," said Bill Hodrick, President, Prudential Hodrick Realty. Prudential Hodrick Realty will now be able to serve all of Union, Northumberland, Snyder, Montour, Columbia, Lycoming, Clinton and Sullivan counties.
With 54 sales professionals in four offices, Prudential Hodrick Realty will become the largest residential real estate company in the area. The former owners of Classic Realty, Mary Mastascusa and Connie May, will remain active with the firm and are excited about the future. “We’re glad the company we built in Lewisburg and Danville will continue to grow and prosper and that we’ll have the opportunity to be a part of its future,” May said. “Bill’s plans to bring technology, training, and systems to our offices will mean we’ll be in the forefront of residential real estate with the backing of a national real estate powerhouse, Prudential Real Estate Affiliates,” Mastascusa said.
When asked why he decided to enter the Lewisburg and Danville markets with the acquisition of Classic Realty, Hodrick described what he called a natural fit between the two companies, culturally and philosophically. “The management and sales professionals of both companies share the belief that customer service is paramount to the success of our respective companies. Our Williamsport and Lock Haven offices have achieved a 98.6% customer satisfaction rate, something we’re very proud of.
